About BRENHAM WILDFLOWERS FLORIST

When I was a baby, my Grandmother owned a floral shop in Conroe, TX & in Houston, TX. My Mother was her lead designer. I basically grew up in a flowershop. During the big floral holidays like Valentines Day & Mothers Day, my Mom would take me with her to work. I had a natural instinct to follow in their footsteps I guess you could say! As a teenager, I was the first one in the family to have the time and resources to attend college. I was determined to have a degree in HealthCare Administration. I went to LoneStar College then transferred to Sam Houston State. I never even thought twice about continuing in their footsteps. I saw how hard they both worked and thought if I had a college degree, the corporate world would be a much easier choice. As I began my job in the corporate world, Life happened and I ended up moving to Brenham in 2009. There wasn’t such a thing as remote workers at that time. I left my corporate job and opened a small florist in Brenham, TX! That’s where my journey with Brenham Wildflowers began. During the pandemic, we were fortunate to have an agriculture license that allowed us to stay open. My business grew and grew. My Mother actually moved from Bandera, TX to be near to help us. Yes, she came out of retirement! How could I have been so lucky! We pride ourselves with great customer care and have a unique style for design. After renting a retail space for 14 years, I was able to purchase a 1943 farmhouse on Market Street. It took almost a year to flip it! It’s one of my proudest accomplishments in life, second to raising my two children. We would love to meet you, so stop in and check us out.

We support the Brenham Opry, Hospice Brazos Valley, Washington County Fair & the local schools & churches. We also support the local sports teams not limited to football, baseball and cheer. We are so proud to be a Brenham Cub. We are also in a close relationship with our nursing & funeral homes.
