Funeral & Memorial flowers:
* Upon the passing of a loved one, the deceased is put into the care of a funeral or cremation home. When ordering flowers for a typical service, your chosen florist will deliver the arrangement directly to the funeral home's flower room prior to the first scheduled service/visitation. The funeral home then places the arrangement in the appropriate chapel, brings your arrangement to all of the other scheduled events, and assists the family in sorting the items to be taken home.
*All BWF arrangements are tagged with the deceased name so the funeral home can easily place the arrangement in the appropriate chapel/room. Your card is shown on the outside of the envelope under the deceased name so that your love can be shown to all who visit. If you want a specific family member to receive your item, the top of the card message is where you would address it to the family member.
To order funeral flowers, all you will need is...
- The Deceased's name.
- The Funeral Home that lists their obituary. (Brenham Memorial Chapel, Memorial Oaks Chapel, Lewis Funeral Home, ect.)
- Any Flower or plant details, including BUDGET, colors, size, ect.
- The message on the card & how you would like it signed.
We will walk you through everything else!
More to consider...
* During the passing of a loved one, family members are typically very busy organizing funeral or memorial services within a very short timeframe. The last thing they need on their long emotional to-do list is more calls and scheduling to receive flowers at their house when they could be sent to the service with the other arrangements. We find most of the time when we call the recipient to schedule the delivery, they often would prefer the arrangement taken to the funeral home. If you are wanting to send flowers directly to a family member's home, please consider sending the arrangement AFTER the services.
